Offered is a private one-hour therapy session that puts your cat "on the couch." You'll learn to understand your cat's emotions and appreciate his or her particular feline grace. You will learn the meaning of different meows and how your cat uses tail, ears, eyes, and body language to communicate with you.
Cat therapist Carole Wilbourn uses her proven, highly successful body of technique, "The Wilbourn Way," to treat emotional or psychological problems, and to cure and prevent behavior problems, for example, how to train your cat not to claw the furniture, how to use the litter box consistently, etc.
Adding a cat to your life is more like adopting a child than acquiring a possession, and you may decide to use this therapeutic consultation to help you select a kitten or cat to match your personality, and help you choose the right name for your cat. Ms. Wilbourn can advise you on the introduction of a new cat, dog, or person into your household; how to introduce your cat to a new baby; how to travel with your cat; how to pamper an elderly or sick cat; or how to deal with the loss of a much-beloved cat.
The therapy session is conducted in the comfort of your own home, apartment, or hotel in New York City. When the session is complete, Ms. Wilbourn leaves you with a written report of the session, including her diagnosis, a prognosis, and suggested treatment plan, as well as an autographed copy of her latest book, The Complete Guide to Understanding and Caring for Your Cat, for future reference.
