What's Larry David Really Like?
In 1989, Lawrence Eugene "Larry" David teamed up with Jerry Seinfeld to co-create the television series Seinfeld, in which the George Costanza character (played by Jason Alexander) is said to be largely based on the real Larry David. On Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry David plays a neurotic,constantly-aggrieved misanthrope whose amazing lack of tact is constantly getting him in trouble, also said to be heavily based on his real life and real experiences.

A New York City native raised in Brooklyn, David has often claimed that his carefree childhood made for a rough transition into a miserable adulthood. He began his career as a standup comic in the early 1970s. Just as Jerry Seinfeld lived across the hall from Kramer in the television show, for six years Larry David lived across the hall from Kenny Kramer. The two lived in Manhattan Plaza, a federally assisted apartment complex for performing artists in New York's Hell's Kitchen and as struggling comedians, they became friends.

So what's the real Larry David really like? For any fan of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm, there's one way to find out if there's any difference between the Larry David in real life, and the Larry David on TV. Offered is the chance to have lunch with the legendary Kenny Kramer, who inspired the Kramer character on Seinfeld. Kenny will pick up the tab for you (and up to one additional guest), and he is prepared to pull aside the curtain and reveal all he knows about Larry David. It's a rare, behind-the-scenes, "tell-all" experience, guaranteed to be as much fun as an episode of Seinfeld or Curb. Prett-ay, prett-ay, pretty good!

About Kenny Kramer
He was born in the West Bronx and attended Manhattan's School for the Performing Arts. Kenny dropped out at age 17 and after writing jokes for a Borscht Belt stand-up comic, he struck out on his own as a comedian. He toured with rock bands like Three Dog Night and Blood, Sweat & Tears, and opened for acts throughout the 1970s. In the early 1980s, he invented electronic jewelry (an apparatus that consisted of blinking lights, powered by hearing-aid batteries, on necklaces and rings), which brought him enough money to retire happily. In 2001 he was the Libertarian Party's candidate for mayor of New York City. And thanks to the television character he inspired, Kenny has conducted the Kramer's Reality Tour and Kramer's Reality Road Show.
