There are certain secrets that every successful public speaker knows and understands, including relaxation, body language, vocal production and pacing. Your session with Ms. Krieger will focus on not only approach and execution, but also content and clarity of message. You will learn the secrets of charismatic speaking, as well as how to construct a good speech, bring a room to attention, create interest from your audience, use your voice to its best advantage, physically express what you are trying to say, communicate your ideas swiftly and effectively, actually get your audience to feel what you want them to feel, and develop your own performance cues for greater expression, clarity, and effectiveness.
You are asked to bring in a sample script, or an idea of what you would like your speech to convey. Your coach will help you create a cogent, flowing “word picture” on paper. Then, you are taken through a series of exercises which will personalize the message and bring the speech to life. The final, polished speech will be recorded and you will have a CD of the performance to take home.
