You can enjoy a cigar with a hand-crafted porter, or a fine meal. Probably best pairing of all, you can enjoy a fine smoke with some quiet time, relaxing by yourself. In an individual approach to cigar lifestyle, we have arranged to create custom-blended cigars to your specifications and palate. Discover the pleasure of fine cigars crafted with pride for you alone.
Offering a one-on-one experience with cigar craftsman Senor Martinez, a true artist who came to New York City from Tamboril in the Dominican Republic, one of the most famous tobacco and cigar towns in the world. You will be guided in the creation of a custom-blended and custom-rolled cigar to please your personal taste and style, as well as enhance your smoking pleasure. Select your own blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobacco leaves rolled into the center of the cigar. Select a Ecuadorian or Nicaraguan binder to hold the filler, then select a Connecticut, Sumatra, Maduro or Nicaraguan wrapper to compliment the blend. (Size options include Torpedo 52 X 6, Robusto 50 X 5 1/4, or Toro 50 X 6). Following the consultation at the Martinez Cigar Factory, a box of 20 of your own personal-blend cigars will be delivered within two weeks.
He is a native of the provincial town of Tamboril in the Dominican Republic, famous for its splendid tobacco, centuries of fine cigar manufacturing and the source of more than half of all premium cigars smoked in America. Following in his father's footsteps, Jesus Martinez uses rich-tasting tobacco and premium wrappers as well as the most skilled rollers to produce of some of the world's finest cigars at Martinez Hand-Made Cigars in the Chelsea section of New York City. He combines his knowledge of traditional production techniques with methods that extend the art of processing, curing, aging and rolling the aromatic leaf. He has dedicated his life to the creation of the finest cigars and heightening the pleasure and satisfaction of cigar smoking. Tobacco used for Martinez cigars is grown at the best plantations in Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
