Whether you're an (aspiring) actor who is looking to improve auditioning skills, a trained actor who needs assistance with audition preparation or to get ready for a specific film or television role, someone who'd like to improve public speaking skills for either professional or social purposes, or someone who just wants to unleash your creativity for two hours, professional actors Jacqueline and Kerry Donelli provide a private coaching workshop. You will learn how to be a powerful, emotional, versatile on-camera actor ready for greatness in films as well as all other professional opportunities.
The 2-hour session will start with an actual scene being cast for a current film. You learn how to perform by expressing your instinctive emotional responses to everything that's going in the scene. The goal is to help you build a genuine process, to develop an extensive tradesman's knowledge of the craft and to help you develop a comprehensive set of “acting tools.”
Jacqueline and Kerry will even take it a step further, and will tell you exactly how break in the business, including where to go to “get cast,” what an audition feels like, what a headshot and professional resume should look like, what trade papers to buy, who casts, and where you find an agent. They will share insider “secrets and short-cuts” to getting your foot in the door.
You'll learn the fundamentals of acting in a joyful and nurturing environment where you won't be afraid to make mistakes and your best effort truly counts! No two private lessons are alike, so the work with Jacqueline and Kerry is customized to meet a client’s specific needs.
Professional actors (and twin sisters), Jacqueline and Kerry wrote, cast, produced, directed and starred in the dark comedy, Titillating Steven, a finalist in nine film festivals and winner of four prestigious awards including, "Winner- Best of Festival", "Winner-Audience Award, "Honorable Mention" and "Special Achievement Award." They wrote and produced segments for HouseSmarts on NBC and were on-air correspondents for the show. They also wrote, produced and directed two cable commercials for Westchester Local News Channel 12 and Telemundo TV. Additionally, their television reality show, The Next Dream Team is a finalist in the Scriptapalooza Screenplay Competition. Their latest dark comedy script, Boris is Dead, is scheduled to shoot end of this year. Jacqueline and Kerry are both members of American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), the Writer's Guild of America (WGA) and the Screen Actor's Guild (SAG).
