Born during the 1920s, the Bloody Mary began its career as a humble equal-parts mix of tomato juice and vodka. Morphed by time and ingenuity, Smith & Wollensky Bloody Marys are practically Bloody-Mary Buffets, replete with an arrays of accompanying veggie garnishes. To make your own Bloody Mary, combine two ounces of vodka, three ounces of tomato juice, 1/2 ounce of lemon juice, three dashes of Worcestershire sauce, two drops of Tabasco sauce, black pepper and salt, then garnish with Pickled Green Beans (for a Cajun-style Bloody Mary), Garlic-Stuffed Olive, and a tall, crisp Pickled Asparagus Spear for stirring.
