Over the Rainbow.
Since its debut on October 3, 1934, The Rainbow Room has epitomized New York style, glamour and sophistication.

Conceived as a formal supper club, The Rainbow Room is where the elite and influential of New York could gather to socialize over cocktails, dine on fine cuisine, dance to the strains of legendary big bands on a revolving floor bathed in color lights from the organ. Its guest list was replete with names such as Aldrich, Payson, Phipps, Strawbridge, Burden, Bliss, Winthrop, Auchincloss, Astor, Morgan, Harriman, and Rockefeller, along with a sprinkling of counts and countesses, princes and princesses.

As America’s foremost mixologist, Dale DeGroff developed his extraordinary techniques and talent for over twenty years tending bar at The Rainbow Room, where he pioneered a gourmet approach to recreating the great classic cocktails and invented over 400 of his own, using fresh squeezed juices and exotic ingredients. DeGroff is credited with having revived the craft of bartending and bringing back the classic cocktail.

Offered is DeGraff’s personally-selected equipment for shaking and stirring great cocktails at home: Boston Shaker, Julep Strainer, Hawthorne Strainer, Long-Handle Stirrer, and “Martini Handbook.” Everything you need to make cocktail mixing easier, faster, and more fun.

Stork ClubThe Stork Club Bar Book
It's the cocktail book to end all cocktail books. The Stork Club Bar Book is a truly unique collection of bar recipes all bound together by a witty and engaging commentary by Lucius Beebe. The author originated the phrase "saloon society," and was first introduced to the Stork Club back in 1930, in the brave old 58th Street days. CLICK HERE for more information.
